We are honored today to be joined by playwright and graduating MFA student Cyntha Ochoa as she shares with the world how it's never too late to follow your dreams. Cynthia tells the incredible story of how she went from being pulled out of high school at age 15 to pursuing a Master's degree nearly four decades later. She discusses being bullied as a child and early hardships growing up in Mexico with a single mother, the fear she experienced when she decided to pursue her GED, and what inspired her to go to college. Cynthia also talks about her creative process, how she learned to have confidence in herself, and what it was like seeing her groundbreaking play "Broken Shells" onstage.
